to educate young, deaf mutes by teaching voice and control, using hands on the throat to feel the vibration.

Sign language is the best form of communication. Not
only is it used by the deaf, but by all people to enhance their understanding of the world around them. Because
all people can use and understand sign language, it is used to break language barriers and carry information from place to
place.
